Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 July 2026Mediqia SAS ("Mediqia", "we", "us") is a company registered in France, headquartered in Bordeaux. This policy explains what personal data we collect through mediqia.com and our enquiry forms, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data we collect
When you submit an enquiry, request a quote, or apply to become a distribution partner, we collect the information you provide directly: name, business email, organisation, country, enquiry type, and message content. We do not collect patient health data through this site.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and quotation requests within our standard 24-business-hour window.
- To evaluate distribution partnership and manufacturer applications.
- To maintain records required for tender and regulatory documentation processes.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with manufacturer or logistics partners strictly where necessary to fulfil a quotation, tender, or distribution request, and always under confidentiality obligations.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact contact@mediqia.com to exercise these rights or to lodge a query with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).
Cookies
mediqia.com uses only essential session cookies required for form functionality. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set without explicit consent.
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 July 2026These terms govern use of mediqia.com and any quotation, order, or partnership request submitted through it. By submitting a form on this site, you confirm the information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to enquire or contract on behalf of your organisation.
Quotations & orders
Prices, lead times, and minimum order quantities referenced on this site are indicative only and confirmed in writing at the quotation stage. A binding order exists only once Mediqia issues a signed order confirmation or pro-forma invoice accepted by the buyer.
Distribution & partnership enquiries
Submitting a manufacturer or distributor partnership enquiry does not create an exclusive or binding relationship. Territory and commercial terms are set out in a separate distribution agreement, negotiated and signed by both parties.
Intellectual property
All content on mediqia.com — text, product specifications, imagery, and branding — is the property of Mediqia SAS or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute not resolved amicably falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France.
Medical Disclaimer
Last updated: 1 July 2026Mediqia is a medical equipment and pharmaceutical distributor, not a healthcare provider. Content on this site — including product pages, specification sheets, and Insights articles — is provided for informational and procurement purposes only and does not constitute clinical, diagnostic, or treatment advice.
Product use
All devices in our catalogue must be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU) and by qualified clinical personnel. Mediqia is not responsible for outcomes arising from off-label use, improper handling, or use outside the device's approved indications.
Regulatory status
CE marking and MDR 2017/745 compliance information provided on product pages reflects the status of our active catalogue at time of publication. Buyers are responsible for confirming current regulatory status and local import requirements with Mediqia prior to procurement, as classifications and national registrations can change.
Editorial content
Insights articles are prepared or reviewed by named clinical and market-intelligence contributors for general market education. They should not substitute independent clinical judgement, peer-reviewed literature, or official regulatory guidance.
Editorial & Medical Review Policy
Last updated: 1 July 2026Mediqia Insights articles are written or reviewed by named contributors with relevant clinical, regulatory, or market-intelligence backgrounds, credited by name and role on every article. This policy explains how that review works.
Who reviews our content
Clinical topics are reviewed by contributors with clinical or biomedical engineering backgrounds before publication. Regulatory and market-intelligence articles are reviewed by our regulatory affairs and market-intelligence leads. Every contributor's role is disclosed in the article byline — see our team page for background on our core contributors.
Sourcing standard
Clinical claims are checked against manufacturer regulatory filings, published clinical literature, or recognised regulatory guidance (EU MDR 2017/745, FDA, WHO). Market and procurement claims draw on our direct tender and distribution experience across MENA, Africa, APAC, and Latin America.
Corrections
If you believe an article contains an error, contact contact@mediqia.com with the article title and the specific claim in question — we review and correct verified errors promptly.
